Umwelt

It started with a nice talk on a plane from Berlin to Paris. My neighbour was a French electronic musician with the artist name “Umwelt”.

Several messages and an after party later, “Days of Dissent“ was launched in Octobre 2016 at Griessemühle in Berlin. The photograph on the cover of the vinyl comes from my series Neuquen.

I had the pleasure to take portraits of the multi-skilled actress Audrey Giacomini for issue n°3 and activist/blogger Grace Ly appeared in issue n°7.

Emmaüs Solidarité

I collaborated twice with Emmaus Solidarité for the project “Un moment, une rencontre” (One moment, one meeting), which questions identity and prejudice when we first meet somebody. A second project “Histoires de Peau” (Stories of the skin) tells the story about the person and his/her tattoos. Both projects were an intense experience with the residents and the workers of the association.

Ca reste entre nous

I took part in the 3rd episode of this webseries to shoot some pictures backstage. This episode “Nos enfants multi culturels” (Our multi-cultural children) is about a conversation between 4 parents, who talk about the choices that are to be made when you are raising multi-cultural children.

Asidentités is an artistic project which has reunited 150 people including women and gender minorities.

It questions representation.

I got involved in this fantastic project to take part to the reappropriation of our stories through my lomo gaze.
